Cranachan with fresh raspberries

 

 

What I'd like to share with you is a wonderful dessert, traditionally made with that most Scottish of fruit...Raspberries.

Cranachan with fresh raspberries

Ingredients

250ml or 1/2 pint fresh double cream

1 tbsp of whisky, as generous as you like, I like a good malt taste suchas Glen Fiddich

1 tbsp of good thick heather honey

1 heaped tbsp of porridge oats

2 punnets of raspberries, Scottish if you can get them

This what you do....

Whisk the cream, honey and whisky together.

Fold in the porridge oats

Spoon onto fresh raspberries and serve
